Your GDPR rights

You always own your data. Below are the rights granted by the European Regulation (GDPR) and how to exercise them.

Your rights

    You can request a copy of the personal data we process about you.

    You can correct inaccurate or incomplete data directly from your profile or by contacting support.

    Erasure

    You can delete your account at any time. Encrypted data is removed from our systems.

    Portability

    You can export your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

    Restriction

    You can ask us to temporarily restrict the processing of your data.

    Objection

    You can object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.

    Complaint

    You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@lifevault.it stating which right you wish to exercise. We respond within 30 days as required by the regulation.

Technical minimization

LifeVault's zero-knowledge architecture drastically narrows the scope of many of these rights: your documents are encrypted with keys derived from your password and are not accessible to us. Export and erasure operate on the ciphertext.
