Your picture

  • Type income and fixed expenses to see your margin.
  • Type how much you have set aside to see how many months it covers.
  • First step: Before cutting anything, know how much comes in and how much is already committed each month. Seeing it written down is often enough.
The numbers stay in this browser (only so you do not lose them if you reload the page) and are never sent to anyone.

Secure these three documents

Whatever step you have reached, the three documents of step 3 are the ones that matter on the day they are needed: the policies with their expiry dates, your wishes, the list of accounts and contracts with whom to contact. LifeVault keeps them encrypted on your device, reminds you of expiry dates and makes them findable by the people you choose. Not even we can read them.

This page is guidance, not financial advice. The thresholds are common rules of thumb, not the right numbers for everyone: your situation may call for different ones. It does not tell you what to buy or where to invest.
